The goal is to sustain compressor output during dust storms, fog, salt, humidity and seasonal loading.
Hoods, louvres, coalescers or a hydrophobic prefilter stage separate rain and fog.
A panel or pocket filter captures coarse dust and extends final-stage life.
V-cell, cylindrical or conical elements deliver the required efficiency.
Stage ΔP, output, compressor washing, corrosion and fouling trends set the replacement timing.
High inlet ΔP, salt or dust, wetting, compressor fouling.
Stage ΔP, sealing, drainage, output, washing history.
Remove bypass or moisture, revise the cascade and the replacement schedule.
For high dust, storms and cleaning without shutdown. Consider climate, particle distribution, humidity, compressed air, efficiency and allowable inlet ΔP.
Identify the standard first. G/F are legacy EN 779 grades; ISO ePM belongs to ISO 16890. There is no exact universal conversion: compare test reports at equal airflow and ΔP.
Static, pulse-cleaned and hybrid inlet systems for gas turbines: prefilters, coalescers, V-cell cassettes and cartridges — protecting the compressor from dust, moisture and salt aerosol.
