APPLICATIONS

Where it is used

  • New construction and plant expansion
  • Rebuilding existing gas-cleaning plants
  • Bringing a site into environmental compliance
  • Equipment replacement without stopping the line
SCOPE

Stages of an EPC project

  1. 01Audit and survey

A site visit: measuring flow, temperature and gas composition, and inspecting the existing plant. Anemometers and pitot tubes, portable gas analysers, thermal imager, dust sampling. 1–3 days on site; deliverable — survey report and written opinion; free of charge if the project follows.

  2. 02Engineering

Engineering calculation and working documentation — the set that later passes review and acceptance: aerodynamic calculation of the network, strength and thermal calculations, structural, concrete, architectural and process drawings, bills of materials and schedules. 2–6 weeks; approved with the client and the regulator.

  3. 03Manufacturing

Our own manufacture of housings and cages, and bags sewn to the site’s dimensions: cutting and welding of housings, bag sewing line, painting and anti-corrosion treatment. 6–16 weeks; incoming, in-process and final inspection; data sheets, certificates, specifications.

  4. 04Installation and commissioning

Supervised or turnkey installation: rigging and assembly, ductwork connection, electrics and instrumentation, commissioning and cleaning-cycle setup. 2–8 weeks; emission measurement at hand-over, figures recorded in the hand-over certificate.

  5. 05Service 24/7

Scheduled maintenance, emergency call-out and a consumables stock for your site: inspection of valves and venturis, replacement of bags and cartridges, diagnostics by ΔP and emissions. 24-hour response under contract, scheduled maintenance 2–4 times a year.

  6. 06Staff training

Your people need to understand what ΔP is telling them and when the bags are due: operating instructions, walk-through of typical failures, hands-on practice on site. On site or online, 1–3 days; deliverable — training record.

DOCUMENTATION

Materials and deliverables

  • Design: structural, concrete, architectural and process drawings
  • Calculations: aerodynamics, strength, thermal
  • Documentation: data sheets, certificates, specifications
  • Supervised installation and design supervision
WHEN IT FITS

Where it works

  • A “make it work” brief — turnkey
  • Staged rebuild without a full shutdown
  • Cleaning performance written into the contract
  • One party responsible instead of five contractors
WHEN IT DOES NOT

Where it does not fit

  • If you only need an element, that is supply, not EPC
  • A site with no access for survey and measurement
  • Deadlines shorter than the manufacturing cycle
