Conical cartridge pair
For pulse-jet cleaned gas turbine air intakes: the cone and cylinder sit on one axis and are fixed to a tripod yoke with a wing nut.

The conical element bears against the tube sheet with its wide end, and the cylindrical element continues it. The whole pair is clamped by a single tie rod and wing nut.
The yoke is welded to the tube sheet: the elements slide over it, the seals sit between the sheet and the elements, and the nut goes on last.
Outside air passes through the element surface, flows along the inner cavity to the clean side of the tube sheet and on to the compressor. When dust builds up, a reverse pulse knocks it down.
From the turbine model and data on the current elements, we compare options for efficiency and pressure differential.
