A pleated oval element that replaces a round bag: in the same tube sheet the filtration area grows 2–3 times.

Oval section and pleats
The oval shape makes fuller use of the space between bags. The top plate seats tightly on the tube sheet, and two bands hold the pleat pack.
- Tube sheet unchanged or only slightly modified
- Pleats clean evenly on a pulse
- Shorter element leaves room above the hopper
Six parts
The inner core holds the oval shape under vacuum, and the bottom cap closes the end of the element.
Large area, low velocity
Air passes through the surface of the oval element: the pleats give a large area, so filtration velocity is low, the dust layer stays thin and drops off easily on a pulse.
- Lower ΔP means less fan energy
