Compressed air line filter

Installed in the compressed air line downstream of the compressor: it captures water, oil aerosol and particles, bringing the air to the required ISO 8573-1 class.

Filter head, bowl and drain

The aluminium head carries the inlet, outlet and a differential pressure indicator on top. The element sits in the bowl; an automatic drain at the bottom discharges collected condensate.

  • Rp ⅜″ … 3″ thread or flange
  • Bowl sight glass — condensate level
  • Indicator shows when to change the element

Element inside the bowl

The element fits into the filter head with an O-ring. The outer foam sleeve collects droplets and lets them drain downwards.

Air passes through the element inside-out

Air drops from the head into the element core, passes outwards through the media, rises along the bowl and leaves through the outlet. Coalesced droplets fall to the bottom of the bowl and are drained.

  • In series: general (1 µm) + fine (0.01 µm) + carbon
  • If the drain fails, condensate enters the line

What we need for selection

We select the filter train by flow rate and the required air class.
