Pleats inside a metal mesh

Cellulose media is folded into star-shaped pleats and protected by outer and inner expanded-metal mesh. The polyurethane end caps seal against the housing on their own.

  • Cellulose or cellulose/synthetic blend

  • Heavy dust — with a pre-cleaner cap

Five parts

The end caps embed the pleat edges in moulded polyurethane: the element is one piece and needs no extra gasket.

Air flows from outside in

Air drawn in by the compressor surrounds the element, passes through the media and flows from the inner core to the intake valve.

  • Replace by the indicator or every 2,000 h
  • Check more often in dusty workshops
